West of England Championship  Show November 2018 Best in show

Greens – Sh Ch Fayken I am Love - Beautiful feminine black and white bitch with pretty head which is balanced with lovely eyes and well used and placed ears.  Loved the overall composition which created a well-balanced dog, with good bone and muscle tone.  Good tail set and length, correct feet and coat in excellent condition. Both and Front and rear angulation were excellent which showed with effortless movement with low lift of feet both to and from and around the ring. B.I.S

Smith & Ratcliffe’s - Sh Ch Arrodare It’s Now or Never  - lovely  5 year old black and white boy. Good masculine head nice ear set and movement, good neck and well-proportioned body with very good muscle tone correct feet and good tail.  Very good movement to and from and around the ring but today just lacked that final presence that the winner had but still R.B.I.S and B.O.S

 Best Puppy .

Lee & Ratcliffe’s - Arrodare Royal Flush - 7 month old blue and white bitch which caught my eye. She has a good balanced head and body for such a young dog with correct bone and muscle that a dog that age should have. Good angulations at front and rear and movement which is very good and can only improve with age   Although minor puppy this dog shows real promise B.P.I.S

Austin’s - Miraje Frozen Again for Hysteps-   10 month old boy with nice masculine head and good body shape and muscle tone. Good angulations and moved well for a pup of that age. Just lacked the movement of the winner today but still showed well for handler BOSPIS

 Best Veteran

Junior Handler

Junior Handling 7-11 year olds  (2,0A) 1st Bobby Lee  - Good set up of dog to give a first overall view of dog and correctly positioned when judge was going over dog . Maintained the “handler dog judge” all the time the dog was being gone over or moved around the ring. Good use of ring and maintained the dog heading towards the judge at all times. Really good ring craft when asked to do different elements and this for me was why handler won class and best junior handler today

2nd Zara Willow Bridle  - Once again good set up of dog and good positioning when I was judging dog.  Worked the ring well and maintained the “handler dog judge” all the time the dog was being gone over or moved around the ring, but just made a few minor mistakes on the positioning of the set elements. Again good understanding of ring craft, but just beaten today but worthy of reserve junior handler
